Intamplarea face ca in ultima perioada sa ma incrucisez cu diverse forme de cultura si informare, toate legate de istoria modei si costumului: am vizitat colectia de costume de epoca a doamnei Adina Nanu, am primit cadou o carte despre curentul vintage, iar la Bookfest am descoperit o carte scrisa de domnul Adrian Majuru, „Cum se distrau romanii odinioara”. Nu ma pot abtine sa nu va reproduc cateva paragrafe din capitolul „Eleganta feminina in istorie” – parte din descrieri raman atat de actuale, veti vedea, incat ma intreb daca chiar
„Clothes matter: we care abut what we wear, and not caring is usually a sign of depression, madness or the resignation to our imminent death. I don’t believe people who tell me that they are not interested in clothes or what they wear. I think they mean that they are not interested in fashion, and believe that following the trends is a waste of time. They look for comfort and a reasonable fit in the clothes they buy and that will do. But such an attitude lies on the surface.
